Petrus Method?

Yesterday i tried learning the petrus method and i wanted to see if this is the right way to solve it. I first made a 2x2x2 block, then made it into a 2x2x3 block, then i'm not really sure what to do so i made the edge piece go into the right spot then inserted the last two slots like f2l in fridrichs method.
