One hand help?

Practice more, try to turn faster, go to YouTube and look up how fast people do their PLLs, get a cube that you can turn easily and precisely.

I don't think you'll find any more specific tips unless you post a video of your solves.

You seem to lock up a bit when turning, practice turning more accurate. You also have to much pauses, take advantage of the slower TPS and lookahead. You seemed to do a lot of y-rotations and maybe even rotations in general. I find y-rotations to be one of the most awkward move OH, so try to reduce them to a minimum.

I'm not that fast, but I think these are some areas you need to improve.

Hi PoHos1, nice to see another fast czech cuber! That is pretty good OH average! What do you average for 3x3 etc.?

PS: Sorry for off-topic.

what cube is that, it seems to lock up a lot, or it's just your turningstyle. I would recommend you to turn a bit slower and to reduce your pauses. And to use a cube which has good corner cutting, or just loose your cube for OH. I'm sub 19 and I'm not doing OH a lot, it's just a warm up for normal 3x3.

Loosen your cube a bit, looks like you are struggling and just do PLL time attacks and different triggers. Those help with speed of your turning.

Loosen your cube (or buy one with better corner cutting). Try to use the slower turning of one-handed solving to get better lookahead than you could normally get on a two-handed solve. And finally, I recommend changing to ring or pinky finger to do an R' move :) It will take some time to get used to, but it's absolutely worth it.

Turning tutorial

This may also help. It's more basic than the above video.

Other things:
- Try to adopt a concrete turning style before practicing OH a lot. The turning style will stay with you for the rest of your solving life, so it's important to get it done early.
- Learn some OH specific algs. PLLs help a lot. I have all of my PLLs on my channel, if you're interested.
- Continue to practice 2H. When you're solving OH, you're pretty much applying your knowledge of f2l from 2H practice.
- If you want an NR (a record that's obtained in official competition), it's best to impose as many competition-like conditions on yourself. This includes starting with the cube on the surface and your hand flat.

one hand help to sub20

hi all please can you halp me how can I be sub20 with one hand solving ??

please I need help tomorow i make video of abg5 OH and you can say me .. my falls

thx..

A. you either have good onehanded turning and algs, in this case, you have to get used to your method, improve your lookahead, use less moves etc.

do slowturning, solve twohanded, do linear fmc, metronome F2L etc.

B. or you have good twohanded times and know your method pretty well, in that case, learn specific algorithms for onehanded, improve your fingertricks and turningspeed by just

1. solving over and over
2. use asmallkittens training concept for onehanded fingertricks as described in one of his videos.

@emolover
i cant say much about your F2L because i am a strict white-crosser. however you seem to be to focused on y-rotations. try to use z and "switch" to cross on left sometimes (and back). its very fast. also in your first PLL you do sth like U' y U' y... thats very ineffective. whenever i get an A-perm i do AUF, an x', z rotations to get to a "good" angle and then i can solve it <R,U,L>
your edge contorl seems to be very good. you probably should learn a OH Y-perm. your turning looks just fine speed will come from alone
thats all i can say from here ;)
