EOCPLL is an algorithm set that reduces a random last layer case to a 2 Gen last layer case by orienting the edges and permuting the corners in one algorithm, where then the last player can be solved with 1 out of 84 different 2GLL algorithms (which is a subset of ZBLL that can be solved entirely 2 gen with only R U moves).

There are only 15 algorithms in the set and they are all either incredibly good or just good, and this speed optimal set averages 8.533 Moves STM. In-fact, you might already know many of them. This is a fun alternative to OLL and PLL, and should be the same or better in terms of efficiency if you use the right algs. This idea has been around for a while, but I can't find very much on it, and I can't find any algorithms that don’t suck. So I found the algs and made this one just so it’s out there.

It’s also called CPEOLL. Also if you use EOCPLL and 2GLL in place of OLL and PLL in CFOP then I'd like to call that variant “F-22” for F2L, 2 Gen reduction (using EOCP), 2GLL because it sounds like a sick ass jet! No other reason.

Is this actually good? Maybe, CP recognition sucks, although there are only 15 algorithms so who knows it could be a hidden gem with some practice. Either way it’s just fun.

The algorithms can be found here.

Edit: I also plan on creating an optimized 2GLL alg sheet, because there are some algorithms that I don't like.

Cp recog with just cases like this isn't bad at all. 2gll has a good amount of moves though. So not really any better then oll pll but it could be a fun way to be different

the average mc of EOCPLL is lower then OLL, the average movecount is actually almost exactly the same as OLL + PLL. Plus you don’t use 2 Gen algs for the really long ones, they have really good 3 gen algs for those cases.

by probably less then a move though my oll list is 9 flat.

I Recently looked ath the optimal HTM soultions(like fewest moves not speed optimimal) for it. And here are the numbers,
11.72 2GLL HTM
8.05 EOCPLL HTM
11.8 PLL HTM
9.37 OLL HTM
All of those weren't including AUF
2GLL+EOCPLL = 19.8 HTM 99 algs
PLL+OLL = 21.27 HTM 78 algs

Reconigion on OLL is easier than EOCPLL . Unsure whats easyier PLL or 2GLL to regonise (you don't have to reconise COLL case but only OLL case).

i think but am unsure that 2GLL exucutation is faster and PLL with lots of practice

im pretty sure that EOCPLL exucutation is faster then OLL

So to conclude Im actualy not sure that OLL and PLL is faster than EOPLL and 2GLL With lots of pratice.
But just drill 2GLL if you want to learn it not learn 15 more algs and the hard reconisions for it.
