Hello, I'm a cuber from the Philippines.
I currently use about 3 methods (CFOP, ZZ, Roux) and average almost the same (from 19-25 seconds) with each.
I lurk around here and post occasionally.
I'm interested in the 3x3x3, the megaminx and square-1 (even though I can't solve the square-1 quickly). I own about 6 puzzles (of which 3 I don't know).

Yeah, that was a boring intro, but thanks guys, through lurking here, I learned a lot about cubing from you all.

It's pretty interesting that you have a selection of methods. Do you favor one over the others or are you "method nuetal" and simply go by which ever has the easiest cross/EOLine/roux start?

I'm pretty method neutral, and I can change what method I am already using in the middle of the solve. For example, after my 1x2x3 block (Roux), if I see that all edges are oriented, I can build the line in the middle of the solve. Or if in L6E, if the DF and DB edges can be solved with an M2 away (and all edges are oriented), I would instead finish with PLL. I also sometimes finish my solves with 2LCLL/2LELL. It's not very hard for me, I just like to put variations on almost of my solves.

Thanks. But still I'm slow.

Oh, and another example. In ZZ, if I know the CMLL case (not COLL), I can just execute it and switch to Roux or ELL.

I'm currently in the process of learning WV now (Also useful for Roux. If the case is really fast to execute, I'll just do it then CMLL's for the oriented cases).

lol waffo. adik ka eh. :P

A question, how many moves are efficient for a 1x2x3 block? Is more than 10 already inefficient? I average 14 moves for this step. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! I was originally from the Philippines but moved here to New Zealand years back.

Food there is nice (especially Jolibee, chicken joy is it?) but anyway back to topic, Keep cubing and are you into any other puzzles?

I'm into megaminx. I just started practicing, and just got a pb of 3 minutes. Also, I am into 4x4x4, and I'm currently studying k4. I haven't timed myself with it.

EDIT: I'm allergic to chicken :P
