Official 3x3 tier list

[FenTheGoat]

Basically, i want the community to vote on the best cubes and make a tier list about it. Kinda like what the Super Smash Melee community has been doing for 20 years.

The following cubes are the maxed out versions. For example, it would be the Weilong V9 ball core and IV coated. Not just the standard version.

[Isaiah Scott]

YS3M, Tornado V3, and WeiLong V9 all the way

[VincentCuber]

Tornado V3, Gan 13 and weilong V9

[erictom333]

Yuxin Little Magic, but only becuase that's the only 3x3 I have that isn't a Rubik's brand.

I love Tengyun v1 a lot for 3BLD for some reason. Slice moves are just perfect yo.

I'm not going to vote, because I haven't tried all of these cubes, but among those I have tried, my ranking is Gan 12UI > YS3M > Gan 13 > Super RS3M > WRM 2021 Maglev > Gan 11 > Tornado v3. The near universal love for the Tornado is a mystery to me. I think it both looks and feels cheap compared to all the others.

FWIW, There are, obviously, a LOT of cubes missing from this list...
What I would vote for myself isn't in there.
to do a proper job the list should probably have ~30 different models, since you include cheap budget cubes like the YLM (ugh!) and some RS3Ms but no WRMs (?wuwt?)
Also the RS3M Super is the 2022 iteration, the RS3M 2021 being its own thing...

Idk man, I was just trying to make a list with the most popular cubes. From thought to post, it was about a 5min process. I might make an updated list if a good amount of people think that there are a few cubes missing.

Edit: I did add the super RS3M 2022

OTHER = for me it's a tie between
WRM 2019 (maglev + core-corner mags) and
Maglev WRM 2021 ((purrpull)) PS: this is Jperm's main
