New beginner wanting to learn F2L

Wow Cubing for 6 days and 1.03 average! I started cubing like 2 years ago (cubed for a month then stopped cause my sister took off the stickers and I couldnt replace them) I was averaging 60-70 seconds going LBL then I got a cube about 3 weeks ago and after a few solves was back to my old 60-70 average by LBL. Now im down to 4LLL about 80% of the time (i havnt learned a few algs) and my times are still about the same but when im using a new alg I usually pause for a little while to remember it then muscle memory kicks in so I dont expect my times to change alot. But I am happy that im doing sub 90 sec consistently. And now I generally know how to handle most F2L cases so now its just practice spotting the pairs and getting them done quicker. =) In hopes for one day hitting sub 30 even sub 45 would be great.

I've noticed that once I make a cross using 2 look OLL, 2 edges aren't oriented properly, EDIT never mind i got it

Thanks, I just don't understand how to do F2L, I do every single algorithm and it doesn't work.. or I usually get them in the right place but one of each colour are on either sides.

don't use algorithms! F2L is intuitive, meaning you figure it out on your own. So try looking for an Intuitive F2L tutorial.
EDIT: oh that wa 2012...
