yes you're right, but that doesnt really help for a user from almost 7 years ago that probably doesnt even use the speedsolving forums nowdays.

Yeah, but he was also refering to help someone else that uses the forums nowadays, for example, if he/she found this thread that means that a new cuber also could find it also and would use the tips from these which some aren't the best, so he/she wanted to improve the tips and help.
