one method I have had (some) success with is doing multiple solves of the same scrambles
Just write down a scramble you get from CSTimer (or whatev timer) and scramble your 4/5/6/7/8
Figure your best start approach, do the timed solve... then use the same scramble again and repeat... and repeat...
and see if you can work better solutions (and times) as you proceed...
obvi
any time after the 1st try shouldn't count in terms of PB, but this method does enable better practice because of higher confidence levels as you go thru the solving process, which does still help better turning and algorithm use in centers and edges
...also, the bigger the cube the more pieces and the harder it will be to have much similarity between repetitions of the same scramble, so after a point (probably during centers) the 2nd, 3rd, etc solves on the same scramble become very different while still letting you see new and/or better ways to aooroach solving as you go along ✅

it's the girlfriend, isn'tit...
What you talking about bro?
Nah, I have some school stuffs to take care of.
My band directors asked me to compose some pep band tunes for them for the upcoming school year, and they need them by March. While I am in a sorta burned out state, I can get a jump start on those and keep working on my original marching band show. Plans for the next little while is making unboxing/review videos of the 8x8 and Valk, and working on being efficient with my solves instead of grinding and speedsolving all the time.

Dang dude. How was it?
I've camped in a foot and a half of snow (tents, I might add), but not extreme winds. I've been in campers with 40mph tho
That tent was rated for 80 mph. we had it staked, tied, and rain flapped for extra security, but at no avail. the 80 mph rating must be the rating to where it won't fly away, cuz it was still bending and flopping everywhere. to make matters worse, we were camping at one of the biggest lakes in the state, so the wind was cold and wet. the poles for the tent were bent so we returned it and got this... https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/kodiak-canvas-flex-bow-deluxe-6-person-tent
me as well, could feel it thru the tent even
yeah, the wind just ignores you. straight through your tent to the marrow of you bones.
