I decided to start a thread where I can post my PLL progression. I'll use this for updates on my progress, and as a place to ask questions about algs.

Goals (July 2023): To (1) learn full PLL and (2) execute all of the algs in under 2.5 seconds.

Here is a list of the algs that I know and my current Ao3 of each (fastest to slowest):
Green means I've reached my goal, yellow means i'm almost there, and red means I still have work to do.
Ua: 1.23, 1.47, 1.25= 1.32
Jb: 1.55, 1.16, 1.76= 1.49
H: 1.45, 1.36, 1.67= 1.49
T: 2.16, 1.38, 1.44= 1.66
Aa: 2.26, 2.10, 1.58= 1.98
Z: 2.04, 1.92, 2.18= 2.05
Y: 2.53, 1.81, 1.89= 2.08
Ub: 2.02, 1.97, 2.26= 2.08
F: 2.36, 2.49, 2.55= 2.47
Ja: 2.47, 2.34, 2.81= 2.54

Ab: 3.03, 2.31, 2.76= 2.70
E: 3.84, 3.27, 2.68= 3.26

*These times do not include recognition

Should I keep or change my Ja alg? ((R' U L' U2) (R U' R' U2) R L)
People have different opinions on that alg. Some think it's bad because of the L moves, meanwhile some others think it's great since it had a high max speed potential.

A lot of cubers who dislike that alg use this one: x R2 F R F' R U2 r' U r U2

Thanks for the tip. As far as fingertricks, what do you suggest I do for the R and L at the end?

If there is no AUF, instead of doing L at the end, you can use your left index finger to do a wide r. You'll want to finger trick as if it were a d from home grip.

You can do that trick even if you have AUF, but it is very risky. So instead you should just do an L move into AUF.

After your feedback i've decided to keep the alg and I think I can definitely improve the time it takes to execute it if I fix my fingertrick at the end. Instead of doing two wrist turns for R and L, i'll just do a wide r like @Discomantis said.

Here is an update on the algorithms that I had not yet reached my goal yet with (my goal is 2.5 seconds) when I posted this thread:
Ja: 2.64, 2.08, 2.10= 2.27 ✅
Ab: 2.30, 1.96, 1.68= 1.98 ✅
E: 2.59, 2.22, 1.69= 2.17 ✅
Here are the newer algs:
Ra: 1.94, 1.99, 2.43= 2.12 ✅
Rb: 1.81, 2.19, 1.81= 1.96 ✅
V: 2.76, 2.87, 2.38= 2.67

I have 6 algs left to learn until I finish full PLL. I plan on learning the N perms next.
