Megaminx Last Layer: Help

You can also use intuition :)
Place LL edges, use commutators to solve the remaining corners.

After that: use the suggestions above but first try finishing it without algs to make your first solve a much more rewarding experience.

*2015* Megaminx Last Layer Algorithms

Hey Everyone,

I know there are multiple threads about this, but the last posts on them are from, like, 2015 and most of the links on them no longer work.

So. does anyone know of any Megaminx Last Layer algorithm lists that you guys can get to work and can understand? I have searched google, youtube etc. and have tried everything I can find, but can't understand them. PDF format would be preferable.

Some of the sites that I can't get to work:

Lots of the PLLs don't work: http://www.kungfoomanchu.com/guides/andy-klise-megaminx.pdf
Don't understand the whole "bunny" and "sun" etc. thing: https://sites.google.com/site/permuteramera
What is the whole "poles" thing?: http://www.mefferts.com/puzzles/megasol1.html

Anyone got any sites that work?

Thanks!

This is a decent resource I think. As for not understanding it, actually reading the site might help. Click the 'PLL cases' tab for details of PLL cases.

There was some discussion once about a better list of algs being put together, but I don't think it ever happened.

all the PLL's in the first document work for me...

He might be mis-reading the [R]'s as actual moves instead of just rotations. I know that messed me up for a long time. I would apply the R like an R+ during a scramble. When it's basically like doing a z rotation.

anyway, yeah... all those algs work. They're not my favorite, but they're fine.

Thanks, I've tried thiat one twice - the first time the alg didn't work, but the second time it did. I'll just have to keep trying.

Okay thanks. One problem: What is the "D" movement? is it the very bottom face, or is it some other way of turning.

Thanks!

In Otter's/Andy Klise's guide, the D is D(fr). So not the opposite face from U, but the face just below F and R layers. So on a standard color scheme (Dayan, SS, ets): Gray Up, Orange Front, D would be Yellow.
