Hello, I want a Lubix elite but on the website it says they will be relisted monday. However, it's been about 3 weeks since that was posted. I know donovan has a busy schedule but i have a upcoming comp at D.C. so if anyone could give me info then thanks.

Maybe you should send him a message. On his homepage is a list of people who have yet to receive their Elites and I'm sure he won't take new orders until those are all complete. Send him a pm or e-mail via his site.

Yea an Ultimate GuHong he said takes something like 30-45 mins and then the Elite mods add on another 2 hours. That's three hours per Elite. Just be patient. If you have an upcoming comp you probably won't want to use the Elite anyway. I've heard that due to to mods and how the cube handles afterwards it takes getting used to it other wise you can easily lose control during fast algs or randomly turn the wrong layer adding another second or two onto you solve. Don't switch anything really close to a comp.

I PMd him about this, he got way more orders then he expected, as a result many were backlogged, including mine. IIRC he just sent mine out, and I'm sure he'll want to restock some before putting it back up for sale

Yea, longest Monday ever!

:P

I've barely had enough time to keep my Ultimates built. The demand for those is increasing, but I'm still one guy, and it's a lot of work to keep up on. I've put in 30 hours on Lubix related things in the last two days alone.

I got 2 more ELITES built last night that will go out today, leaving me just two more to finish to be caught up! Yay!

Thank you everyone who ordered one and have been patient with me!

I may have to start a thread here where I can consolidate all the questions I get on orders to make it easier to keep everyone updated and whatnot.

I have a ton of things I'm trying to get done to be able to use my time as efficiently as possible, and keep Lubix products to my standards.

Piece by piece I keep making improvements, but like I said, I'm just one guy, so I need to make changes, even improvements slow and steady as go avoid making unforeseen mistakes.

Gave up 3 days of Audio Engineering shows this week to focus on Lubix, so yea... This week should be good to keep me on course.

Thx,

Then I for one, would like to give a large and sincere thanks for the work you are doing for us. The amount of work you put in is tremendous, and all to give us a smooth turning plastic toy! The dedication you have for it is amazing, and I for one simply become more grateful when things slow down. It points out how much work this actually is, and I hope others realize this as well.

So, thank you Lubix Guy!

No offense but he IS earning money from all this you know? =p

What's your point? What did I say that would change based on that fact?

Sometimes I think this community is often just out to correct or point out any little thing that might every be the slightest bit incorrect...

we are not just pointing out things that are incorrect.
What Amostay was saying is that he is getting paid to spend all this time. If you think about it, it supposedly takes just under 3 hours to make a lubix elite, and it costs around $35. That pays more than many jobs

It's just kinda interesting to see that you're treating his product as if he's giving it away for free.

2 hours per elite for 8 dollars more, that is below minimum wage in the united states.

I'm assuming you mean $15 more, which would be above minimum wage

Dear God, I just wanted to thank the guy... 0_0. Regardless of whether or not he's getting paid, or how much he's getting paid, I wanted to thank him. Yes, I realize he's making money, but so are any of the other people doing services for us. Yet we thank them. Or maybe we don't. But I try to. Maybe it'll make this guy's day a little bit better.

All that being said, if you guys really care about my thank you that much, maybe I'll just get rid of it.

I agree with you for him doing this for us but I promise you he wouldn't do it for free.

Sure, he's making money, but he's NOT obligated to do this. We were all extremely skeptical about his products at first, but after several months the consensus is that they're pretty damn awesome.
You don't have to make such a big deal about showing a little appreciation. >_>

I'd like to second these kind words. JonnyWhoopes, do not remove your post!

Pixel 6 does an excellent job and provides arguably the best modified cubes available. Keep up the good work!

Exactly. I mean, when you get a haircut do you thank your barber? Do you thank the waiter at a restaurant ? Of course not! These peasants are PAID to provide a service for us. To thank them would imply that they're doing it for free. That's why when I pay my barber, I toss the cash on the floor and watch him pick it up. It reminds him that I am the one reimbursing him for his time, and he should value me as a customer.

Holy crap, I cracked the f**k up at this.
