How to make my lubix elite fast again

I have one of the first lubix elites ever made. It has the old hardware (black screws) and I switched it to the silver screws. Then it needed to be relubixed so I did the ultimate guhong lubrication on it, but it makes it go slower. What should I do to make it fast again

Maybe you could put the old hardware back in. Or clean it out and THEN re-lubix it.

You probably used too much Lubix and gummed up your cube. Clean it out and try again. Start with very small amounts and work in more until you get the desired feel.

Before you try this, I'd just attempt to break the cube in. Most cubes lubed with Lubix tend to be slow until you break it in.

That's a very good suggestion. I thought I'd overlubed my square-1 until I put in some more solves and now it's pretty speedy.
