So I guess this is technically a Petrus solve.. but I've recently been thinking about how to option select between Petrus and LEOR ( Specifically for OH ). What I've come up with is this (1) If FD and BD are oriented then solve EO and then Stripe and (2) If either FD or BD are misoriented ( or both ) solve Stripe then EO. The secret third scenario is to solve a psuedo stripe if finishing the 2x2x3 isn't obvious/convenient ( i.e. if FD and BD are solved but misoriented ). This ends up meaning that you only need to learn the 23 Petrus EO cases instead of all of the EO cases. At the very least it could be used as a stepping stone towards full LEOR. Oh yeah.. how many EO cases are there for LEOR btw?
