I don't think I'll upload it, because eveything was relatively out of frame for most of the video. I might have to switch to a more sophisticated system than 'phone between big cubes' anyway because I can never fit all cubes in frame lol

Jk, thanks for letting me know! Last time I checked I couldn't find them but yeah now I see it as well. Finally a good use for the gift card that I won a year ago from the weekly competition haha. Does anyone have good lube recommendations? Because I wan't to use at least the whole gift card and I've only ever had GAN lube

Go with FZ calm. It is a relatively fast lube that will make cube suuuper smooth.

Didn't feel particularly fast tbh, but my memo is generally better quality than my exec anyway. I believe it was a 9 alger so probably would have been like a 16-18

For the first time since 2010, MBLD, 4BLD and 5BLD will be held at Dutch Nats! I'm not sure if I will practice 4BLD and 5BLD, but I'm very excited about MBLD. It will be november 15th by the time nats comes around, and I'm confident that I will be able to comfortably do 41 cubes sub hour by then. Although I'll probably attempt fewer than 41 cubes there, because there is only one attempt and I don't want to screw that up.

I didn't have time for MBLD last week, but today I finally got to do another attempt. The result was 36/41 1:05:08+ [40:14]. Sub 1 memo per cube! Two of the DNFs were due to skipping a room, which I luckily caught before it did too much damage. One of the DNFs was me forgetting partial corner memo, another one was forgetting partial edge memo, and the last one is off by 3 edges, not sure how. Closing in on sub hour!

I got 14.18 on a 7 alger (R' U' L' B' L' F2 R' L B' D F2 D L2 F2 D R2 D R2 B2 D Rw Uw'). It was followed by a 17.42 and a 17.03 which made for a 16.21 PB mean. (not on my own cube obv because it's broken)

Edit: the MBLD attempt was 32/41 under the hour btw

37/41 1:03:07.44 [40:26.61] with 3 cubes solved over the hour. One of the DNFs was because the last alg ended with R2 U' but I did R' U' because a center cap fell out during the alg which I guess messed up my muscle memory. One DNF has two flipped edges, another a 3-cycle of edges and for the other one I forgot corners. Also I was technically done at 1:01:50 but I spent a bit of time trying to recall the corners of that one cube. Hoping for sub hour next week.

Didn't get to do any attempts last week. I did do an attempt just now, and it was 38/41 1:00:38 [39:37], with 2 cubes solved over the hour (the second to last one was finished 3 seconds late lol)
DNF causes:
1. pop
2. I only recalled corners so just executed that hoping to remember edges later. I did remember edges later because of partially overlapping memo but I forgot to do the corner parity afterwards
3. I forgot the last 3 pairs of a cube.

It was 36/41 1:00:00 with the hour limit and I think that might even be PB lol, not sure though

I actually thought everything was going quite badly. Memo didn't feel like it was sticking at all, every cube felt like a 12 alger, and I thought I had made various execution mistakes. During the 3BLD cube I wasn't even sure if I had done a certain alg or not.
My hands were quite cold, so I expected slower exec than usual, but it turned out ok. Over the hour, I got 2 DNFs (the only ones in the attempt) and 2 more successes.

Nats day 1 went really well!
It started with 5BLD, which I hadn't practiced other than 2 solves in the bus on the way to the venue. I DNFed the first solve by 2 wings and the last solve by a bunch, but the second solve was a 6:20, 3 seconds off of NR.

Then 4BLD, which I hadn't practiced at all. On the first solve I almost dropped the cube and I think that did an Rw3 or something. On the second solve I forgot one alg. Then the last solve started poorly, but its centers were insane which got me a 2:36.xy, NR (albeit by less than half a second)

FMC attempt one was a 33

Then there was MBLD, which is definitely what I cared most about. I attempted 37 cubes instead of 36, because it would allow one more DNF to still be NR. Memo went really well, I'm pretty sure I had 32 or 33 minutes memo apart from the 3BLD cube (which I always 3+ pass for some reason lol). Execution was also pretty smooth, although there was the occasional pause here and there to recall a cube. I ended up with one cube whose corners I couldn't recall, so after some time I just ditched that cube for the better time. There was one more cube off by 3 edges, making the result a 35/37 55:35.

And finally the last FMC attempt, I somehow found 17 moves into 3 corners twisted, and with some cancellations it ended up being a 30, which is PR.

Really happy with my performance, hopefully it carries over to tomorrow!

Nats day 2 summary: sighted events are a joke. Oh and 3BLD as well.

But hey I got a 1.31 2x2 PR single on a 14 mover so that is something

It was technically a 3x3 scramble but I saw on the draw scramble feature that it had a bunch of solved edges so I did it bld, but who cares.

I really need to improve my exec speed for MBLD, I just did 41 cubes with 38:22 memo, but the attempt was still not sub hour by almost 3 minutes and I don't understand why

I did MBLD for the weekly comp and finally got a sub hour 41 MBLD attempt! 34/41 58:25 [36:26]
Accuracy wasn't the best ever but that's fine. Now I guess I'll keep trying until I get some attempts sub hour with good accuracy.
