Jorian Meeuse's progression thread (Kinch WR230 ER70 NR4)

My next comp will be on April 22nd. The events will be 2x2-5x5 and square-1. For square-1, it will be guaranteed PR because my current PR single is a meme, and I don't have an average yet. I've never competed in 5x5, so that will also be guaranteed PR. For 3x3 and 4x4, my goal is to get straight PRs. I won't have the goal to get a sub 9 average, because having that goal seems to get me horrible averages. For 2x2, I want to podium. This will be a challenge, as there will be 3 people that have a sub 2 average. I want to learn this before the competition:
- Relearn EG-1
- EG-2
- LEG-1
- TCLL+/-
If necessary, I will skip LEG-1.

I won't be starting until maybe the beginning of april though, because I am very busy with school right now.
Just started this by relearning the EG-1 cases that I had forgotten. Up next: EG-2
(I still suck at AUF prediction on EG-1 cases, and even some CLL cases, so I'll fix that after learning EG-2)

niceeee
when I started learning cll I was learning all the aufs too but I got tired and I'll leave that for later lol

5BLD in weekly comp was a bit sad. The first solve had parity, but I was stupid enough to not do UF-UR swap during wing tracing, resulting in a DNF by 4 wings. The other 2 solves were successes but they were really slow. Still mad I ruined such an oppurtunity to get a mean just because of a brainfart.
Hoping to finally get some good bigBLD results next week.

I started learning SQ1 cubeshape, I know all cases that take 4 slices or fewer, and a few others. Few reasons why I'm doing this: it's nice to iterate (is that the right word?) between 2x2 algs and CS algs every now and then, it is very important for SQ1 BLD to be able to 1-look the cubeshape (because yes, you need to trace through cubeshape on every SQ1 BLD solve, it's gonna be pain), and lastly, I have SQ1 in my next comp.

Also I'm afraid I forgot a lot of my floating algs for 3BLD. I think I want to do too many things at the same time lol

No, I mean in competition.
Also, whats the biggest puzzle you saw someone do blindfolded.
I heard someone did 8x8 blind
Oh well in an average of 5 the worst and best time don't count, so they are written in parentheses.
Enoch Gray has done 11BLD.
I've tried 9BLD but failed. I'll probably try again this year. First is 2-7 BLD relay though.
