Is it normal IF

1 I spent a week practising my F2L and it still takes me 25 secs to finish it. (F2L only,not whole cube)

2 Learning F2L intuitively is much faster then algorithms based.

3 My friends learned OLL and PLL ( 2 look ) and I learned F2L . We compete, they won.

4 I use a cheap cube CALLED rubiks revenge. It get slower and slower.

5 Vaseline spoiled my cube.

6 I can only memorise one algorithm per day. ( Sometimes take two days)

7 I've been playing my 3x3 cube for almost a month now and my times still 1 55-60secs

1) Maybe, everyone improves differently
2) Of course it's faster to learn intuitively; it's ~4 cases as opposed to ~40 algs (i dunno the no. of cases at all)
3) Normal cause your F2L isn't good yet, when you first start it'll be slower than LBL
4) Get a better cube then
5) Don't use vaseline
6) Learning new algs gets easier as you learn more
7) Refer to 1)

It's perfectly normal for all those things.

People learn at their own pace.

Intuitive is cooler than algorithms.

2 look OLL and PLL compared to F2L... Well if you don't know LL algs then yeah you'll probably lose.

Rubik's 4x4 sucks.

Vaseline has to be removed after a while, or yes, it will wear it out.

2) for most people yes.
3) work on you F2L then. You should be faster than them eventually like this.
4) normal? obviously not for speedcubers; get a good one.
5) in most cases yes because you added too much
6) you'll improve.

I'm wanting to buy a good cube ever since I started speed cubing. Dayan Guhong perhaps.
But at my country, shopping malls don't sell so good cubes.
They have to be bought online.
I'm still under 18 so I don't have a credit card nor paypal. (Paypal also requires credit card or debit)
My parents dont allow me to use theirs. Any suggestions?

I'm wanting to buy a good cube ever since I started speed cubing. Dayan Guhong perhaps.
But at my country, shopping malls don't sell so good cubes.
They have to be bought online.
I'm still under 18 so I don't have a credit card nor paypal. (Paypal also requires credit card or debit)
My parents dont allow me to use theirs. Any suggestions?

Bah im in the same situation as you. Except there is one, just one, UK online shop which I can therefore order from. My parents hate paypal too you see.
The variety there ain't good, only good cube there is type c. Fortunately my friend who comes from hong kong bought me a zhanchi on his visit to his grandparents.

You might wanna check your local amazon or something... Unless you're in the UK like me, then puzl.co.uk should suffice...
Otherwise mod your storebought like I did, I got to sub-15 with it. I can show you how to mod if you like.

If you'd like I can send you my Lunhui, not the greatest cube in the world IMO but it probably better than what you've got now. I know the terrible feeling of not having a decent cube for long periods of time and no one should have to experience this. Idk what the shipping rates are like for the US to Malaysia but we could work something out. PM me if you interested.
