Is EOline able to be sub 1'd ?

lolfail.

Block-building pretty much means you can use the "cross edges" for pairs... (Among other things)

If that's the only reason you like ZZ, then why not try freefop?

can you give me a rundown, in layman's terms, why?

(Imanub)

ZZ (as well as many other method-solvers; i.e. Roux) solvers are generally "pair neutral," meaning you can pair a cross edge with a corner to make a pair rather than just the strict CFOP pairs. In ZZ, you have a line, not a cross, so you can block-build a lot easier than in CFOP (PS: eocross=lol).

being CN with ZZ it's raelly hard. but it easier to be able to solve EOline not from every orientation (CN) but from some orientaions, that's what i do.
it means that i solve with yellow/white on top and i choose the front color so that there are less misoriented edges.
