Improvements on the 2-look OLL

Hi,
I do kind of what lucas does with his compOLL but i use very easy 7/8 move algs (the T perm ones) or other easy ones to turn each case into a sune/anti-sune. if anyone has specific cases they would like to know or just more about this method PM me.

I average 17 with it and full PLL as well as F2L. and i'm color neutral. so yeah.

Well, that's not what I do. :p
I actually just do exactly that, try to go for 3 misoriented corners if I can. The thinking is probably worth it, though I think compOLL is worth being simple to present. One nice thing about cubing is that you can always take advice/algs that seem to work, and discard ones that don't. :)

with good lookahead one look may give you the next 2 steps/algs you are going to perform.

In general, with practice, there is very small difference between a 2-look LL (OLL+PLL) and a 3-look LL (2-step OLL + PLL). Most often the latter is simply used as stepping stone for learning a full 2-look LL.
