I have an actual name for the "Awkward Shape" OLLs

[Paperninja]

Im tired of people calling these:

the "Awkward Shape" OLLs, so I thought I'd tell everyone what I see them as - eagles. Now before you call me crazy let me explain...

if you are having trouble visualizing it still, keep scrolling (P.S. I suck at art)

so yeah, I just thought I'd post this because I think calling it the "Eagle" or the "Bird" sounds a lot more elegant than the "Awkward Shape",
let me know what you guys think!

[GAN 356 X]

nice! at long last! awkward shape. is unoriginal and terrible

[Owen Morrison]

i agree, i think i'll start calling this case that!

[Cuberstache]

This actually makes a lot of sense. I'm going to try and make this a thing.

[Billabob]

I always called it the Glider, after Conway's game of life.

[ImmolatedMarmoset]

Yeah this makes sense... PSA to all the cubers out there, this is the new awkward shape.

[ProStar]

Reviving this thread, this is a much better name than awkward shape.

[Tom Joad]

Brilliant! I will use this from now on.

Also I don’t recognise which one it is immediately from some angles and I waste a UU’ so I will work on my eagle recognition some time soon.

[brododragon]

I always called it the Glider, after Conway's game of life.

I just tried that out in GOLAD. That’s pretty cool.

[Deleted member 36445]

you could call it Nemo too.

[ProStar]

Another large bump, I think this should really be more publicly recognized. Awkward shape sounds like some kid went "doesn't look like anything, how about weird shape" and that became the name, where Eagle actually sounds like a real name

[CLL Smooth]

I thought we were still calling it the Galaxian

[Maddoxer]

Again, another bump for this much better name

[Exmestify]
