I am now an average of 20Seconds,How can we more quickly

Cross and F2L can be faster. And you didn't say much else, maybe if you post a video we might be able to help you more.

Work on lookahead with F2L and cross. You might have to slow down your turning, but it is essential that you can do F2L without a pause most of the time. That will improve your times a lot. Aside from that, practicing LL algs can help, because you want to execute those as fast as possible...

f2l
I can find a place,But I can not know what circumstances he is

So how should I practice?

I mean no offense, but I think it'd be better if you just typed in Chinese and someone here translated it for you  我唔介意同你翻譯 :)

o thx

I am also not so fast in adjusting to changing circumstances in the pieces from the previous step. I just treat it like a new pair to insert.

Basically what he's saying is that he can locate another pair while doing one, but he can't tell where the pieces will end up after he inserts the current pair. So I told him that's what look ahead is all about.

May I hijack this thread? I think this information might help the original poster (assuming he can read my long-winded request), and it would certainly help me. I'm much worse than the OP, averaging pretty much exactly 25 seconds.

qqwref, I really try to do F2L without a pause (and if I'm just casually solving without timing myself, I usually succeed), but when I'm timing myself and going for speed, I find that I really don't succeed. I would guess that with about 1/3 of my F2L pairs, I succeed in identifying the pair and knowing exactly what I'm going to do before I finish the previous set of moves. Probably about 1/3 of my F2L pairs are such that I finally identify the pair as I'm doing the last move of the previous set, and then I have to think for a half second or second to decide what to do to insert that pair. Then about 1/3 of them I don't succeed at all, and I'm still looking for the pair when I finish the previous set of moves. And admittedly, the pair that is usually the worst is the one coming out of the cross. (I suspect this is the biggest thing I need to work on.)

Anyway, I guess I'm wondering - is this typical for a 25-second solver, or is this atypical? (And if it's atypical, am I atypical in that I'm particularly bad at it, or particularly good at it?) How good are most people when they finally get to the point where they identify every pair and know what to do to insert it before finishing the previous sequence?

I would say that no one can solve completely delay-less, and most people don't. I see lots of fast solvers that solve in "spasms". Sort of like little short bursts.

what you could do is to trace the edge of the next pair when pairing your current pair, and find the corner while inserting the pair. basicly you just need to remember the position of the pieces in your mind and use visual memory to determine which case it is.

it's better to stop regularly between pairs than pausing irregularly in one pair. when you realizes about which solutions is this case you are not to look at the pair again, but solve it using muscle memory and find+trace the pieces of the next pair.
