Hello. My name is Sawyer Stahl. I live in Costa Mesa, California. I really like getting good at a number of hobbies.

I play Super Smash Bros. Melee at a competitive level (not good enough to be noteworthy yet though). I also really like doing other hobbies like unicycling, etc. I like boardgames. I wish I was better at Chess. I like games like Cosmic Encounter (and recently, Twilight Struggle). I'm absurdly good at Egyptian Rat Slap (like, card-counting-I-will-mess-you-up kind of good). I want to get into yo-yo'ing. I like speedrunning games. Currently I'm working on speedrunning Portal and trying to get sub-11. In the future I might speedrun other games. Probably Super Monkey Ball.
In high school I did a lot of drama stuff. I'm a pretty good actor (it's probably what I'm best at. . .other than Egyptian Rat Slap). I also like writing.
If you're wondering why I have so many pointless hobbies it's because I just like them. It's not like I don't go outside, though. I do. I like going to the beach and climbing trees and playing rugby or whatever. Unicycling is hard work, too. I want to learn tennis but I'm terribad. Any way, I gotta stop myself from getting fat.
I'm in the process of enlisting in the Air Force and it's taking a looooooooooooooooooong time, so my life is kinda stagnant right now, which is why I'm jumping into hobbies like this more. Decided to get into cubing. I work at a puzzle store right now and I spend a lot of my time walking around the store trying out the puzzles and cubing and my manager is fine with it because it looks kinda job-related lull.
So first I'm finishing learning 3x3. I started with Beginner's Method or whatever but right now I'm learning full Fridrich. Then I'm gonna learn 2x2, then 2x2 blind, then 3x3 blind. Then if the Air Force is still taking forever I guess I'll learn one-handed or whatever.
Anyway, yeah! Puzzle cube hype!
