How to Sub 2 in 5x5?

I'd advise you to do alot of untimed solves rather than timed solves. It helps greatly because you're not rushing yourself through the solves, and your look ahead will improve tremendously. Just do this for a week without timing yourself, when the week is over see how you've improved.

Good idea. I'll try that out.

(Oh btw, I got a 2:01.00 solve the other day. SO FING CLOSE! It's just making me want to see that number even more, even though it's all in significant in the end, I still want that sub 2 haha.)

Look ahead is key for 5x5(and bigger cubes in general, really). For centers you should turn the cube as fast as possible, because there's not much look ahead, but for edges, you should really slow down your turning and focus on where the pieces are.

Definately, if I'm solving edges and I'm turning faster than my eyes can see ill get a horrible time. When I slow down though my times will be way better. Although I do believe solving the centers does involve looking ahead.
