I completely scrambled my magic. Meaning, the 3 floating rings are destroyed and it's in a wierd shape... I can't find a tutorial for this...

my camera's broken but is sorta looks like an "L." it goes from the the tip of the "L" 2 units down. Then it goes 1 unit to the right. There are two layers to it.

EDIT: Ignore this post, for a while it was different than an "L" but it is again

hold it so its a right-side-up L shape

1)fold the square thats sticking out inward so its underneath the 3x1
rectangle
2) open the 3x1 rectangle to get a 3x2 rectangle
3) fold the 1x2 flap down that is ontop of the 3x2 rectangle

that should make it into a 4x2 shape...

ok... now it's 4x2... thanks SA967St. Still, the pieces are still permuted wrong. Like the piece that has the rubiks magic logo is on it's side. Help on this???

Just keep playing around with it using the main moves you use to solve it, and it will return to a solved state eventually.

I got this case a lot of times.

-With the logo in the upper left corner(considring yo have the new store magics), solve it as you normally would.

-Then you should have the three ring shape, but it is not permuted.

-Hold it in the shape of a backwrds "L".
-Now un-do it back to it's 2x4 shape from there as you normally would.

-Done

I just released a fury of rolls and reverses and then BOOM. It's back to normal... heh... must have the magic touch =S

No, you musn't. There are only 4 basic 4x2 (flat) shapes. Each of those basic shapes can be "inverted" (bottom and top row switched) and "loop-shifted" into 4 positions. This gives a total of 4x2x4 = 32 different possibilities.

For a master magic that's 4x2x6 = 48.

Getting it flat is "the hard part".
Get it back to 2x4 or 2x6 is easy (flipping only)
Getting it back to solved is a matter of a couple of alternated forward and backward folds and a loop-shift at the end
