How often do you lube?

Whenever I feel like it, though I've lubed my old cube quite a few times, not my new one. I just lubed it once with vaseline. I don't have any silicone-based lubes at home, so I just use vaseline. After playing around with the cube, I clean out all the vaseline the next day. It works pretty well after that. No eating of the plastic has occurred. I also clean out the cube dust about every 500 or 1,000 solves.

If my cube feels stiff(not talking about locking up), I just play around with it as much as I can. Sometimes, I take apart and reassemble the cube. I don't know why, but it actually helps my cube turn faster.
