On my store bought cube I've gone 9 months without changing them.

My red side is gone, though. I have a black side.

I changed the Rubik storebought ones after a month but for cube4you/ Cubesmith stickers, not yet as they're really durable.

Actually, never. Unless for some reason I have the urge to buy stickers, which I eventually do.

I replace stickers even when the current ones are completely fine. ;D

I replace just for fun. My stickers don't seem to wear out.

It's either because I'm not cubing enough (but I do at least 50 solves every day) or my stickers are of high quality.

I replace them every 3-6 months on my speed-cubes.

But if and only if they've been severely damaged due to my fingernails (i.e. more than 1/4th missing on a group of stickers).

I have a problem with green stickers. I have to change those every 3 months. And the others every 6.

i have only changed one set of stickers and that was on my 25th anniversary cube cuz those stickers really suck. but other than that, i havent changed any stickers.... i keep my fingernails pretty short, so they wont cut up the stickers.

so to answer your question- i would switch my stickers whenever they are falling off.

It varies depending on type of sticker and cube. For my main cube, I use textered tiles. They are probably close to a year old now and still look brand new.

If I am not careful to keep cube lube or CRC silicone spray away from the stickers, they need replacing almost immediately.

For tiles...never, otherwise it depends on the sticker quality before changing but it's usually a few months.
