How many TIMED solves do you do in one day?

What are you saying by your last point? I can't tell if you are trying to insult me or make a dry joke.

No, no, it's a complement! I was saying that you have a good vocabulary. Many people would have to look that word up. Also, you never hear such words in the American South, where I live.
I apologize if I insulted you or if there was a misunderstanding.

Am I wrong in saying 'average' means lots of different types of averages (the means, median, mode range) ,whilst mean is the 3 (A,G,H)! means?

Yeah yeah I know his point. That the main bulk of his solves is 0, but he does more solves occasionally. I was questioning 'average'.

I think mathematically, "average" can be either mean, median, or mode, but most people when they say "average" are thinking of the mean average. It's the most common type. Mode is least common.

I do about 50-100 timed solves on the 3x3x3 and about 1 or 2 on the 4x4x4 but thats only cos im trying to be sub 20 on the 3x3x3 so i kinda ignore the other ones :P

You are not wrong but a mean is a form of an average. It's not inappropriate to say "average" when the resulting statistical representation is "mean". I understand that you may have felt that since I also mention median that this was unnecessarily vague, and in purely mathematical terms it may be vague. However, average is usually used to represent a mean in common conversation and is not incorrect.
