I learnt how to solve a cube around 2 years ago, I solved it like, 5 times, I hadn't touched a cube since then, and I picked it up again. Decided to learn CFOP, spent 2 days learning full PLL and the necessary OLL algs. Within the week I was sub-40. So I'l just going to say 1 week. :|

I practiced a lot of big cubes and I had a sub-7 7x7 avg. before I was sub-minute on 3x3. It took me about 1:30 to solve 3x3 stage on the 7x7 back then.
