How do you remember?

I write them on a piece of paper, then eat the paper and wait while my body metabolises the information.
Oh god, ZB method is gunna require a lot of paper.

Not if each set is on the same paper.:p

It's been scientifically proven that an overdose of algorithm can shut down the body.

On topic: What I do to remember the algorithm is to learn in triggers, (you know, the thingy with the brackets) and watching where each of the pieces go and when to bring them there.

Wait wait, Thomas, even though, I've never heard of that, some days, when I tried to learn too many algorithms at once, my head started hurting and I became nauseous. I physically didn't want to cube anymore, though mentally, I really wanted to get the algorithms over with.

I don't think that has scientific rigor, but my body did feel like crap. X:

I think there alots way to memorize new algorithm like:
1.write new algorithm in the small paper.
2.Or if you lazy, you can print printable page.
3.Or if you don't have printer(or lazy to print),just simply memorize by solve your new algorithm about 10 times:)

For algorithms, I just type them up in a small font, because my body digests small text and large text the same. so I just eat solutions for every possible legal position and solve. :D though, it's useful to add a bit of butter and garlic to season the paper. :p

I 'remember' new algs from repetition really, no way I can remember the actual individual moves but that is kind of irrelivant.

If it's an OLL or PLL then I'll just execute it and do it's inverse. I just repeat them over and over again. Algorithm -> Inverse; Inverse -> Algorithm. This helps with pattern recognition.

Tim.

I have odd memory tricks that are different for each alg really. for lucky number 7 perm, I use R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2 U'

I think, "Ok, R back R forward R backwith u2s, than the F stops the ' until U which triggers the ' again BUT DON'T FORGET THE SECOND R' "

It's weird, but it's how my brain works until muscles kick in.

i print the algorithms on seaweed rolls and make sushi :D

on topic: i memorize what the cube look likes after each "breaks" in an algorithm
