You just do it.
Learn the ones with all edges oriented, then learn easy, quick OLLs.
From there pick a certain number of OLLs to learn each day or week.
It took me a year to learn all of them, but then again, I just learnt them as I went along.
EDIT: I just finished learning all of them about last week.
okay nice ! What website did you use?
Thanks for you help. I do know some 1 look OLL and I do use 2 look in my solves. I average about 17-18s, I want to avg sub 16. Will 1 look help?Well you should start with 2 look OLL, which is what I did and most people do. This includes 3 cases to orient the edges, and 7 cases to orient the corners. That's already 10/57, so after that you only really have to learn 47.
A lot are mirrors, so as a learning process you could just mirror the algs instead of learning the other one until you've got all the OLLs down, then learn the other cases. Makes it easier for your brain.
It took me about 2 weeks to learn all of OLL, but longer than that to actually have them smooth and in my muscle memory.
You should learn some easy cases, there are a lot of videos for that. The best ways to learn are either by case, or algorithm.
By case is like, since many OLLs look similar, you can learn all the algs for those similar-looking cases. It's organized, and you can tell immediately whether or not you know that case.
By algorithm is probably faster, but the extremely similar algs could get jumbled in your brain. A lot of algs use the same triggers, such as R U R' U' or R' F R F' or R U2 R'. http://badmephisto.com/oll.php is a good site for learning by algorithm.
edit: the post above mine has a good source for learning by case.
I learned half from cyoubx`s website and half from cubewhiz. I learned 2 easy ones every day and after there was no more easy one`s I learned 1 once a day. I am still learning, I know 39 out of 57.![]()
Learn at least 2-3 a day. It will go by before you know it.
I printed the algs and on every solve I try to remember the alg and if I can't recall it I will look at the sheet to remind myself.
Look for patterns. I practice until I don't even have to think about the moves. My fingers just do it by muscle memory.
I personally really like Andy's print sheet. Easy to learn and has a lot of R and U heavy algs.

okay sweet! I didnt know cyoubx had OLL algs. Will try learning 2-3 easy onesI still haven't finished OLL and I started just before my first comp
Learn them the same as other algs in their sub-sets
How did you learn your PLL it the same with shorter, different algs and there more of them
Try to think about how the corner edge pairs are broken and put back for each OLL. This will enable you to learn them based on knowledge you already have. How do you memorize all 57 OLLs and how long did it take you?
