Help me re-assemble my V Cube 7

Long story short, my V Cube 7 is in 218 pieces. I'd like to put it together, but I don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

PS: If there is already a thread on this, please link it for me. I did a few searches myself and found nothing of relevance.

I've seen the stop-motion video before, but it goes a bit fast for my liking, and I remeber reading somewhere that some of the things done on the video are impossible.

I know this is a zombie thread now, but I am also having trouble re-assembling my V-Cube 7, but all of those damn stop-motion videos are doing nothing for me. Here is my question:

How in the name of Cleopatra Jones do I pop in the last piece (the corner of the 5x5 square)? The pictures on the V-Cubes assembly page is the same as the pictures on the guide that comes with the cube, which doesn't say "how". I am putting all the muscle I have into sliding pieces apart to make enough room for the wedge to go in, but it just ain't happening. I made it happen once before (when my V-Cube came broken in the mail with a snapped of blue core arm that I superglued back on), but I am wondering if there is a better way than biting my lip and praying to the Cube God that I don't pop out a hundred pieces putting so much force on it.

did you watch the video? this would require you to disassemble again at some points. read the description.
"P.S. You are NOT recommended to use this as a guide for assembling a 7x7 v-cube. Many of the sequences shown are plain impossible and require partially dismantling the cube for every step. Plus, the nasty little Block Monsters might attack and Gobble you up. You never know."
