Sure, but none of us solved a Rubik's cube perfectly on the first try. It took the creator of the cube, Erno Rubik, a month to solve it after he scrambled it the first time. When I worked on it, it took me a month to create a star pattern...
Rotosphere is different in one aspect than Rubik's cube: the pieces are interchangeable and they don’t require a specific orientation... this makes the solving aspect more flexible - multiple ways to create specific pattern.Sure, but none of us solved a Rubik's cube perfectly on the first try. Too bad I had to let it go... no market for it it turned out.
I may refine the online player at some point, but without the IP protection, I can't afford a physical product
Hopefully I will get the patent for cube chess and will be able to go beyond prototypes for the physical cube chess.
Cool!Yes. But it is a prototype, and like all prototypes it takes a lot of work. (Since people are asking me "how much?", I sell it for $500, so they stop asking - I don't want to spend all my time making prototypes, while there is so much more work to be done PHYSICAL CUBE CHESS)
Right now I am focusing all my energy on digital development of cubechess.com. (Not just energy but time outside my making living doing contact work as commercial artist).
For example I try to create daily cube chess puzzles: Cube chess daily puzzle
