Is the Fridrich Method and the LBL Method similar? Or is one of them faster than the other?

LBL from Dan's Cube Station, my pb for LBL method is 35.63 seconds, so if fridrich method is better than do you where i can learn it?

You use LBL from Dan's cube station and got 35.63?!??!
O_O wow, I guess I really do suck at cubing -- my PB for Fridrich is 26.42 (sig), but I can only get times of 50+ using LBL (I use variety of LBL methods -- all of which get me 50+... Keyhole, the little booklet that comes with a storebought, Cube Station, EVEN YOUTUBE!!!).

What's your TPS, and hows your recognition for LL? (even F2L >_>)??

Umm didn't baka mean ------ in Japanese?
Or is your name not related to that?

Well Fridrich is much better than LBL because LBL is just the simplified version of Fridrich. Fridrich is kind of a LBL approach too but you do the first two layers in 4 corner-edge pair insertions instead of doing 4 corner and then 4 edge insertions.

I have been using the LBL method for a little while and tried to learn the Petrus method, but could never solve the f2l faster than 3min. However with the Friedrich method I can now do it in about 1 min with help from the advice in this guide:

My times are still not very fast with an average of around 2 minutes. I solve the last layer with 12 algs mostly from the Petrus guide.

Seems I'm stuck on 2+ minutes. Still having fun turning chaos into order ^_^

Fridrich is much faster. They both start with the cross but Fridrich inserts the first 2 layers' corners and edges at the same time and if you learn all the OLLs and PLLs, solving the last layer is much much faster.

You can start learning just the 2-Look OLLs first so you dont get overwhelmed. You dont really need to learn any algorithms for F2L, just do it intuitively by watching a tutorial or something.

When I first started using Fridrich F2L it actually slowed my time down alittle. That step is probably the most important step in your solve. Remembering algorithms is the easy part.

U more than likely would want to learn intuitive F2L at first and then 2Look OLL in addition to 2 PLL's. The U-Perm and the A-Perm... using that type of method to solve you should be able to get around a minute easily.. with some practice I think that can be worked down to around 40 seconds.. after that you want to learn algorithms for the F2L, the OLL, and PLL
