Free Codeweaver's Crossover

[Bryan]

I know many people here are Mac/Linux users. If you want a copy of CodeWeaver's Crossover product (a commercial port of WINE), you can get it for free from www.codeweavers.com today only.

Dang, I missed it. I haven't used it before, but it looks nice. What do you think of it?

Their site went down, but I signed up for a free serial to be emailed within a few days. Sounds like there was a pretty high demand.

Yeah, it was probably hit by the Digg effect.

I haven't used it yet either, I simply got the serial that should be sent to me sometime. I have Linux, so I've used Wine a few times and haven't had any problems with that.

Of course, I'm not running Office or anything, just CubeExplorer. But I might try running some of the kid's Windows games on my Linux box.
