Hi all, I made a thing: Frameworks: A structured approach to Roux blocks
Basically if you want to start using roux, this is how you should approach blocks (which I know is usually the sticking point). I've discussed this idea informally for a while, but I've finally gotten around to writing up the ideas into a mini-guide.
I am looking for suggestions on what could be clarified and what is confusing and other points.
I do intend for this to be something of a living document and I'm planning on adding an appendix with example solves and such but, knowing me, it'll probably be like a year before I get around to doing that.
Let me know what you think!
