4x4 takes forever to scramble each time, and at this rate it will take a long time to solve. Why not go back to 3x3?

Good idea. Lets make some teams. Europeans vs. Americans, so that time zones are equal? Or instead something like Americans vs. Rest of World, or Europeans vs. Rest of World? Or, we can just sign up. We will do teams of 10. Simply sign up your name, and repost. We can start once it all gets filled up.

Lol, it seems we are scrapping the 4x4x4 idea then? This team thing seems suspect. It would definitely need to be similar timezones. What you could do is set up a specific time to do team solves (in another thread). Everybody there, some neutral party posts the scramble, and each team has their own thread to solve as fast as possible. If there was some sort of system going, it could be done in less than an hour. (eg, 2 people cross, 4 people F2L, 2 people OLL, 2 people PLL).
Perhaps for now we should just continue to do this teamsolve normally? I'll put up the scramble, randomly from JNetCube:
