You know, this would be VERY fun on IRC. We could have #team1 and #team2 racing simultaneously!

Why not go back to 3x3?
IMO it's getting boring, especially because we seem to use Fridrich over and over again. Going for fewest moves could be much more interesting.
I am fine with solving with whatever method. However, most people that do the team solve don't know all the methods that you are trying to work, therefore it is nearly impossible to do w/o communication. Fewest moves is good too, but once again, most people won't know where to go since they don't practice it, nor think like you.

Let's combine the teams idea with the FM/Petrus/whateverjustnotCFOP idea. Two teams, one CFOP solvers, one FM/etc solvers. And the teams should make moves alternatingly, i.e., one team has to wait for the move of the other team.

Ok, lets do it. We should create a new thread though to let this one finish up. I have to go now, but if someone can arrange setups for some different teams, that would be great.

i had no idea that this would become so popular :) In fact as I was about to post the thread I almost canceled it because I thought it would get 2 answers and then die awkwardly :)
anyway, glad you guys enjoy it, i like how its evolving as you get better ideas on how to improve it :)
