I got a Fisher cube recently, and am having some trouble solving it. I can get through F2L and OLL just fine. PLL, not so much. All the tutorials I watched just say its just like a regular 3x3, but when I do the algs, it'll come out to another PLL. Is there some kind of trick to it?

yeah, samething happened to me...... PLL just don't seem to work, dunno why... so unfortunatly the only way to solve the last layer (if im not mistaken) is the begginers method.

oh and there is fisher cube parity, but it's not that hard.

The seems to be "edges" are actually corners and the "corners' are actually edges.

Now, there can be an impossible OLL case because all the F2L edges have 2 orientations. On the original 3x3 cube, an edge piece for F2L only has 1 correct orientation. If the edge is flipped, the F2L pair would not be solved. On the Fisher's cube, if the edge piece is flipped incorrectly, it still would be solved. If you get an unsolvable OLL case, just flip 1 edge in an F2L pair over.

Because of this, there can be impossible PLL cases. If an edge is flipped wrong, it will effect the PLL case.

An edge can't be flipped wrong if you are at PLL, and it wouldn't affect PLL anyway. Permutation and Orientation are separate.
