I have always been fascinated by the idea of having a reversed Rubik's Cube where the colours are on the inside. I have explored the subject previously with similar concepts- Open Crazy Comet plus I am sure I did something with one of my giant cubes but can't seem to find it now. There's certainly been previous over sized Rubik's Cubes where it was possible but I wanted something uncluttered and video friendly. The new DianSheng Googol 348mm Cube finally fits the bill perfectly and only relatively minor and non damaging modifications were required.
Although I simply solved this from the outside while filming the inside there is the option to colour the outside all black so it has to be solved internally only. This could be done with a blue tooth connection between a "smart" phone and the camera inside.
