He said "I'm nowhere near Sebastian's speed, either in competition or unofficially." I interpreted that to mean "my unofficial average is nowhere near Sebastian's unofficial average, and Sebastian also has a better comp PB than me." I didn't think he was comparing his global average to Sebastian's comp times.

I wonder what Sebastian averages. I heard someone say 27 a while back, in which case you're right.

Re averages - don't be surprised if I get >30 in the next comp. My global average is probably 29.0. This average had 2 PLL parities.

Getting lucky is not a crime. At EC finals I had 1 parity in the whole avg (a PLL parity which I could solve including the PLL -diag corner swap-). Don't hate tho, cuz I once had 19 out of 20 parities in the 2 rounds of 4x4 (Nemo Open I think).
