You motivated me to check how much I could progress by solving 2-3 hours a day (don't know for how long yet).
Ps.: I average about 13-14.
Well I think I can do it!
So guys do you think it is possible I could get a 14 second average in two months? And if not then sub 20?
24 seconds to 10 seconds in 2 months? If you seriously practice at least 2 to 3 hours a day (if not, more), know/learn full OLL and PLL (assuming you know CFOP), work on look-ahead/minimizing pauses, then I suppose it's possible. But even if you have time to practice 2 to 3 hours a day then you will have trouble sticking with it. In the beginning I practiced probably 3 to 4 hours a day, and then I just couldn't keep doing it. I still love cubing, but there's a point were you get sick of constant cubing. I'll tell you what, if you practice 3+ hours every day for the next 2 months and stick with it, and practice look-ahead/minimizing pauses you could be sub-15 or maybe even sub-13. 10 second average would be tough, but if you seriously practice, then there is a chance.
Good luck.![]()
Seriously? That is kind of pathetic, dude.Dude, I've been practicing literally just about all day everyday (about 10 hours a day) to the point where my wife wants to leave me, for about a year and a half straight

Dude, I've been practicing literally just about all day everyday (about 10 hours a day) to the point where my wife wants to leave me, for about a year and a half straight, have extremely good hand - eye coordination and focus, and only avg 15. Practice isn't everything. Hahahha.

If you really want to improve you should take a break. Like take a week or several off and pay attention to your wife.
What, take time off and watch my wife clean the house all day? Hahahaha.
Imo it depends on the teacher.
I honestly think you should just a break from cubing for at least a week or so - until you're dying to solve again. If you're practicing that much you'll probably burn out soon, and if you're wife really does get pissed and leave you then how fun will cubing feel then?
Maybe you should also spend that 10 hrs per day studying algs - by now you could have learned full ZBLL if you wanted to xD
Seriously though - you should think about what is the best use of your time. Also 'How2Practice' if you haven't read it yet.
