EAC (Edge-Anchored Centers) method: Solves, Experiments and Observations (Thread)

After some vwry deep research it seems like there can be more possible algroithems that are much more simple but for Eac 2.0 I can only combine commutators for now unless I can find a website or algroithems sheet for finding more advanced algroithems
Here's your case and alg animated at Twizzle. (I animate at cubedb for the remainder of the links, because it supports Old WCA notation, where lowercase letters = inner slice turns.)

You want to solve the corner and 2 wings for the last F2L slot in one algorithm?

If so,
  • I made this PDF back in 2011 which solves both wing edges (for the last F2L slot on the 4x4x4 . . . or for 1 wing edge orbit for big cubes, in general) in 1 algorithm (which is no longer than 12 moves on the 4x4x4 or 13 on the nxnxn).
  • You could just do a few moves to solve the corner and then do the respective alg for the wing edge case using that alg set. For example, (R U2 R') [z:Rw2 U' r D2 r' U r D2 r] //Case 9-2 on page 11 (12 STM).
___________
You could also do something like this (F2L with corner and 1 wing + some extra stuff)
(U2) b (U' R U2 R' U' R U2 R') b' (B2 D' (b U2 b' U2) D B2)
  • 1st move (U2) gets the cube into position for F2L 7.
  • 2nd move b joins the F2L wings before F2L 7 is executed
  • b' undoes the b (obviously)
  • Last part is to "intuitively" rejoin the misaligned centers.
It shouldn't work out this nicely for most cases though.
________
But, I'm not sure what solving the last F2L slot have has to do with EAC or EAC 2.0?

BTW, I just updated that wiki page to link (most) algorithms to cubedb. (So now, the presented algorithms are the same as the animations . . . Sorry for any prior confusion, but I had no choice in the past to provide links to algs in SiGN notation instead of Old WCA, as cubedb didn't exist and/or didn't support Old WCA at the time.)
  • I actually made it like how it is now that when Gil (see the attribution at the beginning of the wiki page as of now) first added the "old" parameter (Old WCA notation), but then cubedb went offline at random times. (So I reverted back to twizzle . . . until now.)
  • But I have been wanting to change it back (now that it appears to be stable). Since I see you like Old WCA notation (as I do), this gave me extra incentive to switch it back.
