A front-facing approach to the U-Perm (Edge Permutation) using only basic triggers

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a variation for the Last Layer edge permutation that I mapped out. I call it the Okonofua Algorithm.

Most standard beginner guides tell you to put the solved side at the back for the U-Perm, which means you lose visual tracking of that face. This variation keeps the fully solved side facing Front (F), allowing 100% visibility of the cube's state while using basic righty and lefty triggers.

Orientation: Solved side at Front (F), Yellow face Up (U).

1. Counter-Clockwise Edge Cycle:

(R U R' U') (L' U' L U) (U R U' R') (U' L' U L)

Breakdown: Right Trigger ➔ Left Trigger ➔ Reverse Right ➔Reverse Left

2. Clockwise Edge Cycle:

(L' U' L U) (R U R' U') (U' L' U L) (U R U' R')

Breakdown: Left Trigger ➔ Right Trigger ➔ Reverse Left ➔Reverse Right

It has a smooth fingertrick flow because your hands stay locked in the home grip position, and you never have to guess what's happening on the back of the cube. Let me know what you think!
