Do you glimpse at the timer during a solve?

[Noahaha]

Just use BLD mode.

I'm holding the cube in one hand and putting the blindfold on with the other, so it's much easier to glance than to tap.

[CarlBrannen]

It's one of my many bad habits, but at least I only do it rarely.

[ottozing]

I almost allways glance at the timer atleast once every solve. Since I use qqtimer, I could just use the timer updating feature to get out of my nasty habit. However, I like being able to glance at the timer during inspection so I can get an idea of how much inspection I have left. I wish I could somehow set it so that I could see the inspection time only :/

[izovire]

All the time!

In fact I watch the time go by as I glimpse at my cube... occasionally solving it.

[Dene]

Not when doing 3x3, but I often check after redux on big cubes.

[Iggy]

For 4x4, just before the 3x3 stage.

[Czery]

Now that I do can count 10 seconds very accurately.

[Tyjet66]

Yes, and I wish I wouldn't but I can't seem to stop.

[Hunter]

Never~

[somerandomkidmike]

I think I do it every solve.

[KukuhTrisna]

Sometimes. in 4x4 after pairing.. use qqtimer, cuz the number aren't big like cct I dropped my time when i looking at timer at 3x3

[Ickenicke]

Yes, but I can't stop it.

[Dacuba]

I used to do it. But now I look at the timer really rarely. You really improve your average a little bit by not looking at the timer. Not even during PLL.

[ThomasJE]

Yes. Every solve.

[Petro Leum]

ive heard this before...

[blackzabbathfan]

On like 8 second F2L I'll look and then ruin my times out of nerves.

[RubiXer]

Only during OH...

[ThePizzaGuy92]

If the timer is already in my field of view. Especially during a big cube solve or long algorithm.

[ThtDarnNeighbor]

i sometimes see the timer because im curious and it totally screws up my rythm and i end up doing awkward plls and my time is facepalm worthy

so yes but i shouldn't

[Cheese11]

I try not to. But it's a really bad habit to get into.
