Do personal bests count when randomly scrambled?

When I have to hand scramble I make sure I do at least 40 moves.

I usually only do about 25... :) I used to only do 15. I wonder if this is why I have had an LL skip... I am really bad at scrambling, though. Sometimes, in 2x2, I will get the same scramble every second time. :)
No, solving cross+F2L would scramble your LL. You just got lucky.

Or lucky unintentional reverse scramble, perhaps?

I find it incredibly unlikely that he happened to scramble the cube in the inverse of the exact way he solves the cube. More unlikely than an LL skip.

15 moves, mang. Easy inserts and whatnot. It could've happened.
Or, prepared scramble, but it's not implied.

Quad X-Cross = random scramble that can be solved with an R2

Don't count extremely lucky things... lucky =/= skill imo. I find myself having extremely similar crosses when hand-scrambling... lol. once I was scrambling a 2x2, and I did the same moves over and over again. so when I started solving I was like.... yaaah 0.32 new uwr xD (The cube was solved)
