Worst 5x5 is slower than my worse 6x6 solve.

That was in august lol. The rest of the average was just because I was half asleep but the 14 was because I did Ortega. I use Layer, OLL, PLL. I had to redo the whole solve which ended up having a y-perm. The video of it is hilarious.

What was your worst non-DNF result that you can remember? I'll start:

Bit of a funny story for this one. On April 1 2023, I was doing some casual solves on my old Dayan Zhanchi, when it popped in the middle of a solve. Like always, I found, picked up, and put every piece back...except one. I looked everywhere in my room for several minutes, thinking that the piece had just vanished, when I finally found it. It had fallen onto my desk's keyboard drawer, which is painted black. Black piece, black desk, it blended in. I finished the solve, and stopped the timer. The time?

6:44.966.

Keep in mind, this was in 2023 (the current year at the time of writing). I got an official sub-12 average just a week later (with a better cube of course). I wasn't a beginner, just stupid.

I messed up all but 1 F2L pair, screwed up the first 2 looks of 4LLL and then my cube popped

This was an absolute dumb solve, considering I got my 7.68 pr single before this solve, I didn't just mess up cross I straight up wasn't even finished, when messed up on pll, giving me a 20.58, which is still my first 20 in comp

I remember this one 5x5 solve where i spent 13 minutes trying to solve one edge pair. I decided to stop the timer around 17 minutes

My worst official 3x3 solve is a 27.38. It was the second day of my first comp in Dec 2022. I was very sick the whole day and couldn’t eat anything. That sickness led to me getting my tonsils out a few weeks later

At the New England champs last year, in my very first 3x3 solve in the first round, I got a 20.79 because about half a second in an edge popped. I averaged 10-11 seconds at that time, so I was pretty mad.

Oh and then the next solve I tried to do the (Rw' D Rw U2) 5X N perm and DNFed, so the average was a 14 lol

story- 27- i was using a borrowed pyraminx (weilong i think), and when solving, the edge popped. going, taking the edge and inserting it took 27 sec

I just got a 5:34.63 minutes solve at skewb because my center flew and had to take out two corners, put the center back and then the two corners.

When I learnt Skewb, I decided to invent my own method instead of learning from a tutorial. I managed, but the method was so slow I had to keep restarting my timer because 10 mins wasn't enough.(I use a different method now and average 10 secs)
