I don't know. I don't use that twist. I just use my index and thumb to pull the top right panel.

Every time I see a fast Master Magic solve video I get kind of pissed off because my Master Magic has 3 broken strings and de-strings virtually every solve

well because thats how you solve it. you only do the twist on the left side if your master magic is reverse strung.
