Thoughts on the puzzle: Great cube, the best corner cutting and reverse cutting I have ever seen. Just... BRILLIANT! Even better when modded :)

Thoughts on the puzzle: It wasn't prelubed, so it wasn't so good out of the box. Once I lubed it with Traxxas, it was amazing. It's really fast, cuts corners, and best of all, it doesn't pop at all. Great cube, love it!

Thoughts on the puzzle: Excellent cube, in my eyes it is the best. No major popping issues, great corner cuttings, no lockups, very smooth. Definitely worth getting.

Thoughts: Well, I originally used Rubik's. And then switched to Zhanchi, so it was impossible for it to be worse. it was instantly faster than any cube I had ever touched. And thus its my main and I like it a lot. However, I really am not sure if its working to full potential. I've never really felt what a perfect one feels like. So I wouldn't really know how good mine is. I love it though.

    [*]Thoughts on the puzzle:
After doing the 48 point edge mod to my first (non Lubix) Zhanchi, I compared it to my newer Lubix Zhanchi. The older Zhanchi has the old Dayan core, whilst the new Lubix Zhanchi has the new Dayan core. The difference seems to be a sturdier feel on the new core as opposed to the old core. All in all, as everyone else has said, this cube is wickedly fast and cuts corners as if it were nothing. My main cube for, what I predict to be, a long time.

  • When the puzzle was purchased: Just after prototypes finished. I think it was a day later, so I was one of the first. Bought 40, 2 for myself.
  • Thoughts on the puzzle: I assembled both at the same time, same tension and lube, one always felt "omg smooth" and never locked up. The other was extremely fast, slightly clicky. I prefer the fast one for timing algs and solving roux, the slow one for everything else.

Thoughts on the puzzle:
Really good cube, I like it but, whenever I play with my Guhong, the Zhanchi lacks some of the feel, nether less the cube is good, smooth, fast, and just good, but some part of me still like my guhong, the one without torps.

Thought : Great puzzle. The best 3x3 that I have ever have. Really smooth move. Rarely pop and lock

Where the puzzle was purchased: My friend, again
When the puzzle was purchased: Mid February 2012
Thoughts on the puzzle: A bit clickier than the Guhong, which was a fresh feel, and now after quite a number of solves I still like the clickiness. My friend restickered it to Cubesmith's half bright set (they're awesome, thank you very much) and the sticker quality is really good. Mine has torpedoes, but they're pretty much useless, because my cube pops/explodes despite being quite tight. No lockups though, but mine might just be a weird one. And my friend Lubix'd it, so it's really nice, so I don't need to lube it anytime soon.

Thoughts:Truly a brilliant puzzle, a bit loud, corner cutting is brilliant, the speed is astounding and it is better than the GuHong v2. Probably the best 3x3 on the market =)

Thoughts on the puzzle: OMGWTFBBQ SMOOTHER THAN A BUTTERY JAMES BOND ON A SLIP-N-SLIDE.
Mine is a stickerless.
Was lubed when I bought it. The lube finally dried up a few days ago (must have been Lubix, it lasted about 8 months), so I used silicone originally for skateboard bearings. It is smooth enough now that the cube is faster than I am, despite averaging between 17 and 25 seconds. This cube is insanely fast, but I could see it being hard to use for anybody slower than 30 seconds. It'd be great to learn fingertricking if you're in that range though. The corner cuts on this cube are insane too. U permutuations are my fastest PLLs (I use this alg), with this cube the whole alg is done in under half a second, it feels like you're doing each step of the alg at the same time. Again the figertricking and speed of this thing are ridiculous. If you're under 25 seconds and need that last push to get you under 20s, get this cube. If you're in the 45s range, this cube will be slower for you than a well-lubed Type C.

Thoughts on the puzzle: This puzzle was AMAZING out of the box, however it popped occasionally. After recently doing a few mods on it aswell as tensioning it and lubing it with lubix, the puzzle is now extremely smooth, fast, cuts corners amazingly and never pops. This is my favorite cube, however I can't wait to see if the dayan 6 tops it

Thoughts on the puzzle:
After proper lubricant and breaking in this is the best cube I've ever had. Great corner cutting and no pops makes it very reliable. Totally worth 15 dollars.

I bought it from a us seller on eBay.

It was bought in the first week of December 2012.

It came very loose and popped a lot but now it is tensioned and lubed and it's very fast. I voted above average because it can pop a lot and the overall feel isn't of one that I prefer (like a guhong)
