[Help Thread] Cubing Injuries?

I really don't have any serious injuries, allergies (that I know of), and I've never been seriously ill.

I've fractured my fingers a few times, but I think I only went to the doctor when I fractured my 4th finger. I do remember in like 3rd grade I dropped something on my toe which damaged the nail or something, so it was all bruised. So after like a month or something I told my mom about it and while I started telling her what happened I started crying. Right after I finished she said "Does it hurt?" and immediately after she says that I stop crying and calmly reply "No."
.
Now that I think about it, I never really tell my parents when I hurt myself. Most the time I figure it will heal on its own.

EDIT: Forgot about this. In 3rd grade I was jumping on my friend's trampoline, and after about 2 or 3 minutes I hear my back crack. For about three months after that I couldn't walk without it hurting.

Also my tongue has fangs.

No pics no proof.

I was in the hospital a bit ago for appendicitis, and later had to go back for an abscess that was the size of a softball.
I broke both of my arms, my left arm was when I was riding a scooter and just fell off (Literally going like 2 miles an hour) the other one was when I was trying to hit this kid in the face with a kickball and I tripped and fell on my extended arm.
I used to have asthma, But that went away after I moved to Florida.
When I was one year old I had projectile vomiting, they tell me I could hit things 20 feet away.
I sliced my finger open in the car when I was trying to make an arrowhead in the car while my dad was in the store. ( I was trying to make the part where you would put the arrowshaft on the arrow the little hole thingmajig.) and so I was bleeding all over the place. I tried to stop the flow by covering it with my shirt. Then went into the store and asked the lady at the counter if they had a first aid kit. she was like "No, why?" and I showed her my finger and she started FREAKING out and told me to wash off my hand in the sink.

her freaking out though HAHAHAHA

One of my friends is allergic to latex.

I once stepped on a nail (the flat head of the nail, but the nail was so small, that it managed to pierce my skin anyway) Still oblivious to the existence of this nail, I somehow managed to drag my foot through it another couple centimeters.

Needless to say, I had to go to the hospital and get some stitches...

Dunno if it's cubing related or not, but when I try to move my thumb back towards the outside of my hand it won't, but then it'll pop and then it will.

Wrist pain involving speedcubing?

Hello, this is going to be my first article on this forum!
Recently I have started speedcubing, my mom always says that I will get Arthritis or sore-wrists if I keep doing that. I have had some minor soreness in my wrist but I'm pretty sure it is normal for someone my experience (1-2 weeks cubing) So my question is, has anyone here gotten any wrist/finger problems from speedcubing? Thank you and have a nice day :)

You shouldnt be using your wrists when solving in the first place, atleast not much. Lubing the puzzle and using fingertricks minimizes the friction and basically all physical strain to your wrists. You'll be fine.
