What do you guys think its made out of? I think it's just shock oil in a syringe lol. It just came out, there's a small chance I want to buy it. If I am going to, what do you guys think the best way to lube your cube with it is going to be? I think it just came out like an hour ago, but yeah..post your opinions/comments! :D

Also do you guys think this could be the new replacement for Lubix?

It's 2011...things have moved on since there was "only" Lubix.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, we all kinda know that Lubix is merely "re-bottled" silicone oil with a generous sprinkle of pre-shock-oil-hype (shock oil was there first obviously, but we didn't know about it as a lube for cubing).
Lubix and this new offering can, and probably will coexist alongside the raw product, which is nothing more than silicone oil IMO. There's nothing wrong with purchasing these expensive products, but be aware that you can get similar, if not the same performance out of cheaper "brands".

Please read more posts on lube, especially silicone oil/ shock oil. You'll probably realize that your thread/poll is pretty redundant...

Idk man. I'm just curious about this new lube that just came out from cubesmith.

Neither are worth the price. I've found that my Lubix wears off after 100-200 solves. And it's not like Lubix is that amazing, I can make a cube turn just as well with some Jig-a-loo and Maru lube. (I'm interested in trying the Traxxas stuff or Shock Oil; they seem like good alternatives)

So Lubix is just shock oil in a syringe?

Well, Shock oil is a low viscosity silicone oil.... Lubix is a high viscosity silicone oil, so same general thing.
(Note: when shock oil is thicker it's called Differential Oil (Diff Oil for short))
So if you were asking if Lubix is Diff oil in a syringe, then the answer would be... pretty much, yeah.

So what kind of Diff Oil would I buy to get the same performance as Lubix?
