Hi. I am new to this websight and I'll try and make this thread as clear as possible.

I would like to have a user guild, or a detailed manual of the formulas. spaificly how to do things like U, or how people normaly write the formlas. Just a detailed instruction for that would b speshiated so I can get more into cubeing. :)

the side that you are facing is F (front)
the side on the right is R (right)
same with L (left)
the side farthest away from you is B (back)
the side on the top is U (up)
same with D (down)

_ means a clockwise turn (as if you were facing that side
_' means a counterclockwise turn
_2 means turning the side twice (the direction you turn doenst effect the outcome on a standard rubik's cube)

hope this helps :)

Ok for a start if you want help, try formulating a coherent sentence. Secondly, any guide written for you to understand would have to be so dumbed down and mundane that it wouldn't be worth anyones time to write, nor would anyone else be able to benefit from it, other than perhaps a 5 year old. Deary me lern2englisch

Any beginner's how-to guide that's worth anything will have an explanation of how to read notation. May I ask why you felt the need to ask this question?

DUDE SERIOUSLY why do you insist on putting everyone down? Stop being such a douchemonkey, I'm sick of your pathetic attitude towards noobs, even if they can't formulate a coherent sentence.

Welcome to the forums,

here are some good tutorial videos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsQIoPyfQzM -Dan Brown Rubiks Tutorial Part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW_BBp3FPMQ Dan Brown Rubiks Tutorial Part 2

What??!?!?! Those are NOT good videos at all. Please don't watch those. Use badmephisto's beginners method if at all possible, it's much more efficient and a lot easier to learn than Dan Brown's. I can't believe that I just read that someone thought those were good tutorials.

I second the motion...

It is a really simple task to find many LBL (Layer-by-Layer) guides. A lot of these posts have been made and answered already, so use the search tab on the bar under your name, 3rd from the right, and you will find probably many posts detailing your problems.

EDIT: I just remembered, I came to this post because of the spelling error.
